College and university level students around the world are invited to participate in the Free Fur Alliance fifth annual poster design competition. Use your design and communications talents to speak up against fur and at the same time win cash! For 2007, DAF competition rounds will be held in the following regions before proceeding to the international Grand Prize Awards: Canada, China, Europe & International, Russia, United Kingdom & Ireland, United States.

Each round will offer cash prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners, as well as 25 additional honorable distinction awards. The regional competitions for the U.K. and U.S. offer opportunities to win additional special awards. The three finalists of each regional round will be automatically entered into the international competition to select the 2007 Grand Prize Winner. Additionally, each finalist will be automatically entered into our online People’s Choice competition. This year, the Design Against Fur message is “Fashion Victims”

NOTE: Various deadlines are in place for both registration and poster submission. The date noted above is the earliest registration deadline, and it’s for the U.S. only. 2 April for Russia and China, and so on. Visit the site for all the details.
