There’s been a big flack from Cleveland (Ohio) graphic designers about the Cleveland Foundation’s logo design competition. From what I can gather, it appears that this contest offers $10,000 for the top prize and two $1,000 for runners-up. But, local designers are all in a huff about the contest because they feel it’s a slap in the face since all entries will be become the property of the Cleveland Foundation. Frankly, all I could see was that $10,000 and the fact that this contest appears to be no different than any other (except for that $10,000). Perhaps the Cleveland Foundation should spread a wider net…
