Architecture and Design students are encouraged to participate in the Sustainable Architecture and Design Competition 07 and to come up with new creative approaches on using traditional or new renewable raw materials (like straw, bamboo, paper, etc.). The focus lies on an intelligent combination of environmentally sound materials on a renewable basis for a sustainable building. The specific purpose of the competition is to promote young architecture and design students at the European Forum Alpbach, a very prominent platform for European science, economy and politics held every year in Austria.

The target group of the contribution are graduate students. There are no other participation restrictions. Final project: a Description of project and an illustrative Poster; Deadline: 4 June. Visit the site for details.
